WELCOME! FROM THE PRESIDENT
As President of the Mansfield Liederkranz I welcome you to our Web site. The Mansfield Liederkranz has been the center of German culture in north central Ohio since it was created in 1906. The Mansfield Liederkranz began as a German singing society. Over the years the club members have added many new activities and special interest groups. Currently, these special interest groups include German folk dance (Trachten) groups for toddlers, adults and senior adults, soccer for youth and adults, German language classes, and golf leagues. To keep our German heritage alive, we have German music and dances that feature many ethnic bands from Ohio and Michigan. In our club room we serve lunches daily and dinners every Friday night. We are constantly looking for new ways to serve our members and maintain our German heritage. Jakob Hunsinger President, Mansfield Liederkranz. Call for Information: (419) 529-3064
